1. Post an article about your business on related blogs and get free visitors and back links
2. Submitting to directories
3. Free classifieds
4. Forums

I have tried tools like Senuke and Traffic Geyser and they work well when it comes to internet marketing

There is a new package available that may help. It's about finding niche markets (even though she already has one), and then building sites and getting organic traffic there.

It includes software to build out the sites as well. I've put it in the resource section. Product name is Niche Blueprint

The basic principle of Marketing encompasses four P's: Product, Price Promotion and Place (Distribution). Advertising is a piece of the promotion pie.

Marketing is developing, securing and maintaining a customer base for your service or product.

Advertising is one function of marketing that assists you in doing this.

Marketing is a bigger concept than advertising.

Marketing include all activities starting from sales fore cast to actual selling of a product or services.It includes planning,identifying,segmenting etc.

Advertisement on the other hand is an activity to create awareness among the prospective customers about the product.

Marketing is:

- knowing what the consumers WANT to buy and consume
- Making it available to the final consumer at teh right time, place and price.

Advertising is a subset of marketing. So, if the first step of marketing is to know WHAT teh consumers want, advertising is the step essential to let them know that 'HERE is the product YOU wanted".

No degrees are required but a degree in Marketing would be usefull as that is what you are interested in.

Major in Marketing, and pay special attention to Statistics classes, taking extra Statistics courses if you see them offered. Mathematics of any kind will help, but remember your main focus will have to be Marketing.

Try and keep a 4.0 the whole time, because the more technical-minded people are, the more they expect excellence. It's nearly impossible to get into an analytical position with mediocre grades.
